GHG Inventory
- Standard
- ISO 14064-1 + Certificate of Practice

- Main Outcome
- Defensible organisational GHG inventory
Build credible GHG information under ISO 14064-1. Learn to challenge it under ISO 14064-3. Progress toward credible ESG and sustainability reporting.
MPC’s pathway connects GHG inventory development, GHG verification and sustainability reporting into one professional progression — with a different question, capability and output at each stage.
The same practice model answers two different needs: individuals want real project capability; companies want capable people and progress on implementation.
CoP moves you beyond a prepared case into supervised organisational work with actual records, real Data Owners, data gaps, professional decisions and technical review.
Companies enrolling a suitable team can build internal capability while applying the learning to their own organisational GHG information through the CoP Host Organisation model.
The standard stays the same. The environment becomes real.
CoP is a structured professional-practice pathway, not an informal attachment to a training course.
Not another case study. A real engagement.
Each pillar has its own structured learning, practice focus and professional outcome. Use the tabs for a quick overview, then open the individual page for full programme details.
Don’t just learn carbon accounting. Build the evidence behind the number.
Phase 1 develops the inventory process through a structured organisational case. Phase 2 moves into supervised implementation using actual organisational information, source data and supporting evidence.
You built the GHG statement. Now learn how to challenge it.
Phase 1 develops the complete verification lifecycle and a risk-based Verification Plan. Phase 2 puts the plan against evidence through interviews, tracing, sampling, recalculation, findings and adjustment.
The carbon number does not end with verification.
Credible carbon information becomes part of sustainability disclosure, risk management, targets, strategy and management decisions. The practitioner programme is being prepared for year-end 2026.
Ms Lim's Carbon Journey follows the practical reality behind GHG work — from collecting organisational data and developing the inventory to the questions that arise when the information is placed under verification scrutiny.
The verifier looks beyond the final number: boundary, sources, data quality, methodology, assumptions and the evidence that supports the reported figure.
Companies enrolling 3 or more participants in the ISO 14064-1 Practitioner Pathway may request for their organisation to be considered as a CoP Host Organisation.
If selected, the company’s participating team completes Phase 1 and Phase 2 while the supervised CoP engagement is structured around the company’s actual organisational GHG information.
The company receives a GHG Inventory Report based on the information and evidence made available during the engagement.

The Certificate of Practice model is supported through collaboration between P2P Talent Development and Universiti Teknologi Sarawak (UTS), connecting structured learning with supervised, documented professional application.
The collaboration was formalised through an MoU signed on 25 February 2025.
Completing CoP gives a practitioner something different from classroom knowledge: supervised project experience and evidence of practice.
P2P maintains a professional platform for CoP graduates and facilitates suitable graduates toward potential GHG inventory, verification-support, carbon-management and sustainability-related project opportunities.
Opportunities are subject to project availability, client requirements and demonstrated graduate capability. This is connection and facilitation, not guaranteed project placement.
P2P Talent Development is the organisation and practice platform. MPC — Malaysia Project-Management Community is P2P’s professional community and capability-development platform.
P2P designs and operates the practice pathway behind the MPC Carbon & ESG Professional Pathway — connecting structured learning with supervised practice, organisational engagement, technical review and continued graduate development.
Selected organisations represented across P2P and MPC training, projects, professional activities and wider network engagement.
